Festas de la Barceloneta
ahhh la Barceloneta! hippies, perroflautas, bohemians, tourists….. one of the most open neighborhoods in Barcelona, you can just go to a bar and have a conversation with the group next to you. People hanging on the streets, eating, playing cards.
Everytime I think of la Barceloneta, I think of my friend Dana Guti, having drinks at Bar Leo, bravas at Bitácora or simply walking the streets durind las fiestas. I went to las fiestas de la Barceloneta this past summer and I just found out they have fiestas AGAIN! (oh Spain!) There is no other place I’d rather be than at Bar Leo hanging out with Mary Michelle Conellan and Dana Guti. I even miss the lady from Bar Leo screaming at us for drinking with glasses outside.
